I am not a native speaker of the English language, but I feel that in the first sentence of section 11.3 of the GNU maintainer info doc,
"Some package maintainers release pre-compiled binaries proprietary for systems such as Microsoft Windows or MacOS." the words "proprietary" and "for" are in the wrong order, since the former word modifies the systems according to the context. (I may be wrong, though.)
