   Hello!

Hi.

   There seem to be a bug in makeinfo in texinfo (4.0-1)
   (on a Debian pre-2.2, codename potato, i386 (Cyrix P166) machine)
   in that it doesn't parse nested command correctly.
   For example, in Documentation/topdocs/AUTHORS.texi (from
   lilypond-1.3.5.tar.gz),

           makeinfo AUTHORS.texi

   fails when parsing the following:

   @item @email{pinard@@iro.umontreal.ca, Fran@,{c}ois Pinard},
       parts of Documentation/Vocab*, started internationalization stuff

   with error:

   AUTHORS.texi:55: Misplaced {.
   AUTHORS.texi:55: Misplaced }.

The "{c}" in `Fran@,{c}ois' seems strange to me. Is this handled
elsewhere in makeinfo?

Brian
