Yes, makeinfo handles 'Fran@,{c}ois' (translates it to 'Franc,ois')
when it is not in @email{}. I have attached my modified AUTHORS.texi
(added 'Franc@,{c}ois' outside @email) and the resulting
AUTHORS.info (makeinfo --force AUTHORS.texi) in this message.
