A time ago I have started to let makeinfo produce groff/nroff, SGML,
XHTML, XML (but I'm no XML expert) and OS/2-IPF output so this might
help if do a coordination about this.
May be there are others formats needed as well?
I prefer Texinfo for the same reasons than you do.
