Here's a patch with some HTML output related fixes. It's against
texinfo-pretest (4.1d) downloaded 2002-03-30.
Thanks. But some of these fixes seem unnecessary to me. Does the
newest HTML standard now require quotes around normal words that are
arguments, as in name="description" instead of just name=description?
If so they broke every backwards-compatibility rule there is ...
I prefer the simplicity of no quotes in simple cases like these. Html
is not xml (thank goodness).
I notice several other kinds of changes along with the quoting stuff,
and those seem good.
