First had trouble installing Steel Bank Common Lisp which requires that
texinfo be installed correctly. So I did an upgrade to texinfo-4.8
following INSTALL.generic. System is Mac OS X.3.9.
Entering "info info" showed, however, that 4.6 was still in there
somwhere. I had trouble eradicating it.
Most recently, I wrongly removed /usr/bin/info. I get a message that
it is gone. So I rebuilt texinfo-4.8 again, but to no avail.
Please advise.
