I have compiled and installed texinfo-4.12 on i386 FreeBSD 7.0.
The gmake check fails on 48 of 50 tests.
Error message is:
usage: mktemp [-d] [-q] [-t prefix] [-u] template ...
mktemp [-d] [-q] [-u] -t prefix
usage: cp [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-f | -i | -n] [-alpv] source_file target_file
cp [-R [-H | -L | -P]] [-f | -i | -n] [-alpv] source_file ...
target_directory
