development is in GIT and point people to page:No, it would not be correct. Texinfo development still uses CVS; Jim Meyering set up the git as a read-only "mirror" because he wanted to get it that way. I don't use the git repo myself, nor do I have any plans to switch Texinfo away from CVS.
