Hi, I'm interested in adding native rsync:// support to GNU Wget, starting with basic functionality such as directory listings and file downloads.
The idea is to make commands like wget rsync://example.org/module/file.tar.gz work without depending on an external rsync executable. Would this be something you'd consider accepting upstream? I'd be interested in working on it. Thanks!
