so what? Bugzilla documents all known bugs, not only blocker bugs. If it's not
a blocker item, then don't give it blocker priority.
As long as this bug is not fixed, it should remain in bugzilla.

I'm reopening this since it already was marked as 'enhancement'. This clearly
indicates that it isn't a blocker item at all.

yes, the PMU knows the reason for the resume (RTC alarm in this case). However,
the PMU driver doesn't really have an idea on how to signal this to userspace
yet.
So this is very much a valid bug, and we need to define an interface by which
the wakeup reason can be obtained (query) as well as some kind of
event/notification interface in the resume path, sending an event if the resume
was based on RTC alarm.

please don't resolve this bug. it is a bug that is important to know about!
If you configure an RTC alarm using the userspace-exported RTC interface, this
alarm is not persistent, i.e. if the application that set the alarm exit's, the
alarm is gone.

If this behaviour is still correct (which I think it is), then it is a bug and
it should be open until it is actually fixed.
If it's not valid for one particular release, then please make use of the
priority, severity or 'target milestone' feature of bugzilla.

why would we mark a bug as WONTFIX if it
1) might already have been fixed
2) there are still pending questions related to it?

this is a real bug, in fact a potential security issue. Any sane linux system
should not have any network services running which are not used.
out of security reasons I strongly recommend that this bug is fixed.
