http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15380 httpd 2.0.43 long running processes using lots of CPU until forcibly terminated ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-02-16 21:34 ------- Thanks for the info... You need to add "EnableSendfile Off" to your <Directory /> container to work around this problem. Somebody mentioned this problem to me a few days ago (HP-UX sendfile returning 0). HP-UX doesn't document it to return 0 in this condition, and Apache/APR doesn't handle it. The person who mentioned this to me, who works for HP by the way, thought it might be related to related to resetting a network adapter. He was going to contact the appropriate HP-UX engineers, but I haven't heard back. When there is a resolution (bug fix to HP-UX or some amendment to their doc so we know what to do when it returns 0 in this case) we may need to change our code. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
