Hmmm...

My problem on Windows went away when I installed and used the latest MSVC++
Service Pack and the latest Microsoft Platform SDK.

I had the LDAP modules working fine on Solaris at 2.0.43, but have not tried
them since (as the motivation to move to Apache 2 is not as great on UNIX).

For those trying 2.0.45 on HP you may be interested to note that HP now provides
a 2.0.45 build for their platform with an LDAP module, though I'm not sure which
one...
