I'm glad we can discuss this using this mechanism.  This is the first time I've 
ever used this system & I didn't realize that it worked in this way.

Can you explain to me how I can view the installed HTML documentation without 
serving it thru the Apache web server?  As far as I can see there's no way to 
do that.
