http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16133 validation of no-cache responses with Expires header ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2003-07-07 21:23 ------- Partial success: Patched Apache no longer violates RFC 2616. However, please note that the cache now seems to refuse to store responses with Cache-Control: no-cache header, which is a compliant but sub-optimal behavior. Many caches store such responses and revalidate them on each request, increasing byte hit ratio. The corresponding test case trace will be attached. Note that the case indicates a failure (not a violation) because Apache does not optimize as described above, making it impossible to test the revalidation part of the RFC requirement. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
