http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=21918 RewriteRule causes error claiming FollowSymLinks is off Summary: RewriteRule causes error claiming FollowSymLinks is off Product: Apache httpd-2.0 Version: 2.0.47 Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: Other Component: All AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Here's the errorlog entry: Options FollowSymLinks or SymLinksIfOwnerMatch is off which implies that RewriteRule directive is forbidden ...and here's the error displayed in the browser: You don't have permission to access /whatever/ on this server. I do have a RewriteRule in an htaccess file (between RewriteEngine On and RewriteCond commands). However, after getting this error, I've explicitly enabled both FollowSymLinks and SymLinksIfOwnerMatch, both in the httpd.conf file and in the htaccess file. Yet the error persists. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
