change to larger number in your environment; re-compile Apache httpd as well as
any 3rd-party modules that access the scoreboard...  strictly speaking you'd be
breaking binary compatibility, but if you can recompile any 3rd-party modules
you use, you won't have a problem

this isn't the place for Q&A, but you noticed that already since nobody
responded in 7 months :)
