Can't obtain httpd.core (CoreDumpDirectory doesn't work)

           Summary: Can't obtain httpd.core (CoreDumpDirectory doesn't work)
           Product: Apache httpd-1.3
           Version: 1.3.29
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: FreeBSD
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: core
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Environment:
1)Apache 1.3.29 built from FreeBSD ports.
2)FreeBSD 4.8
3)httpd.conf is httpd.conf.default with 'CoreDumpDirectory /var/tmp' line added

Problem:
After sending SIGSEGV to one of the apache slave proccesses following appears
in httpd-error.log:
[Fri Jan 9 16:16:54 2004] [notice] child pid 63625 exit signal Segmentation
fault (11)
but there is no core in CoreDumpDirectory

P.S. I've enough room in /var/tmp and default process limits
(coredumpsize = infinity)
