As a consequence, we are considering going back to 1.3 as well. I'm reluctant to go in this direction, but without progress for months now, there seems to be no perspective for 2.0 within environments requiring client certs and the POST method.... BTW: You should remove the "PatchAvailable" keyword. No offense for the creator of the patch, but it simply doesn't work.
