http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=29128 Segmentation fault when configured with ldap ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2004-08-24 12:04 ------- I can confirm your solution. Thanks. :) Although I'd like to note that the actual problem seems to be that OpenLDAP is using libbind in favor of libresolv. So even after re-installing Bind without libbind, one has to re-install OpenLDAP as well, since it is OpenLDAP having the dependency on libbind, not Apache itself. Furthermore, the presence of libbind is not a problem as long as one makes sure OpenLDAP is not being compiled against libbind, but instead against libresolv (patching of the configuration script for example). I found this (old) OpenLDAP issue, which might be related: http://www.openldap.org/its/?findid=1304 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
