Your contributions will be welcome: if you're not a programmer, test-drive it and report back with your experiences. The existing mod_fastcgi and mod_fcgid implementations are owned and maintained by developers outside the ASF. That's how open-source software works: these third-party developers offer value-added products on terms of their choice.
