Summary: incorrect parsing of server name with IPv6
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.3-HEAD
          Platform: Other
               URL: http://[2001:5c0:9744:0:230:84ff:fe31:9886]/test/
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

There is a problem with how the server identifies itself when using certain
browsers and IPv6. This is probably related to another bug
http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=26005

If you go to http://[2001:5c0:9744:0:230:84ff:fe31:9886]/test/ (browsable empty
directory) in firefox/gecko the server identifies itself correctly with:

Apache/2.2.3 (Ubuntu) Server at 2001:5c0:9744:0:230:84ff:fe31:9886 Port 80

If you go to the same url in Safari you get:

Apache/2.2.3 (Ubuntu) Server at 2001:5c0:9744:0:230:84ff:fe31 Port 9886
