http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=44026 ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2007-12-06 04:29 ------- Are you using balancer? Apply this fix, which will be in 2.2.7: http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/httpd/httpd/branches/2.2.x/modules/proxy/proxy_util.c?r1=576910&r2=582620&diff_format=h That fixes keepalive for backend connections. I think the management of the memory for backend connections is broken -- no way to recycle the memory when eventually the backend connection dies. Without keepalive working, memory usage grows at a fantastic rate. You'll probably still need "MaxRequestsPerChild high-number" to keep it from growing high enough to hurt (until the memory management is fixed, that is). -- Configure bugmail: http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
