http://issues.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=44244 Summary: Client certificate request failure causes apache to perform abortive shutdown Product: Apache httpd-2 Version: 2.3-HEAD Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: mod_ssl AssignedTo: [email protected] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] If no client certificate is returned by the browser an abortive shutdown is performed by Apache which results in no headers being sent. It would be nice to have an error code sent back resulting in some headers for the browser to process.
