Summary: Httpd process consumes memory in SSL Mode.
           Product: Apache httpd-2
           Version: 2.2.4
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows Server 2003
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: mod_ssl
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

Hi,

We have our appliaction on Apache 2.2.4 along with mod_ssl to access resources
over https. We are seeing continuous memory growth in httpd process during the
course of the run.

if we do a similar run using Apache 2.2.4 over http (non-ssl), we do not see
any significant memory growth in the process.

Is anyone aware of a known memory leak issue for https transactions?

Apache2.2.4 , mod_ssl/2.2.4 , OpenSSL/0.9.8d

Thanks,
Srikanth Akula.
