Summary: feature request for being able to disable FcgidWrapper
support in .htaccess
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.15
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Windows XP
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_fcgid
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
I want to migrate from mod_fastcgi to mod_fcgid, and I just realized, mod_fcgid
supports FcgidWrapper in .htaccess files. Which is nice for dedicated servers.
However, I want to provide the web service with mod_fcgid in a shared hosting
environment. Customers using .htaccess are able to reconfigure the default PHP
settings (by specifying other config file) which could lead to server
compromise.
I hope you understand the importance of this matter.
