Bug ID: 58335
Summary: mod_authnz_ldap mismatch
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.2.15
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X 10.1
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: mod_authnz_ldap
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
I have run into a strange issue. Usernames with a period (fname.lname) will
fail authentication. Result is a password mismatch.
Usernames without a period (lname), authenticate properly.
The credentials used are correct, tested with other methods against the LDAP
server. The LDAP configuration is correct, single word users do not have any
issues.
It's just usernames with a period that will not authenticate.
[timestamp] [error] [client x.x.x.x] user fname.lname: authentication failure
for "/": Password Mismatch
Environment:
CentOS 6.7 64-Bit
httpd installed via yum
