Likely the breakage is due to the new feature "mod_proxy, mod_ssl: Handle SSLProxy* directives in <Proxy> sections, allowing per backend TLS configuration." Proxy SSL contexts were always managed separately from the frontend ssl contexts, but with that change their management got a major refactoring.
