With the following enabled in /etc/wsconsctl.conf:
display.vblank=on # enable vertical sync blank
display.screen_off=600000 # set screen blank timeout to 10 minutes
display.kbdact=on # Restore screen on keyboard input
display.outact=off # Restore screen on display output
X stops responding to input after it has been left idle for over two hours. The
mouse cursor can still move,
but clicking has no effect. The screen is displayed but is not updated. It is
necessary to ssh into the box from
another computer to kill X.

>How-To-Repeat:
Start laptop and then leave it idle for over two hours. I replicated
this 10x before I filed this report.
>Fix:
Comment out the aforementioned values in /etc/wsconsctl.conf.
