Dear "bugs" dear Mike, I had discovered a few days ago a bug in OpenBSD, and spent many hours trying to isolate the issue. I had mailed you a detailed error description, but I've only received a brief refusal:
"i'm barely pointing out that your report is incomplete/incorrect, not trying to fix the bug (sorry, absolutely not my bailiwick)." I have meantime received an email from the programmer of the software Sharity-Light (Christian Starkjohann <[email protected]>). He has confirmed that it probably is a bug in the BSD kernel: "The bug seems to be in the NFS client of the BSD kernel" I ask me why you are not interested on a kernel bug, if you advertises OpenBSD to be very safe. It Makes me wonder so much but that one is not interested in a bug fix in the kernel, if one advertises its operating system to be very safe. sorry If you need more information, so please contakt me or look here: http://www.bsdforen.de/showthread.php?t=27119 or look at yout mails "subject: sharity-light => uvm_fault".
