There are a few things that may be relevant in terms of fixes in newer versions of xf86-video-intel. ftp://ftp.x.org/pub/individual/driver/xf86-video-intel-2.21.11.tar.gz (after this they assume relaxed fencing is present and broke the build by requiring yet another gcc extension we don't have) as described in the xenocara README, install: - automake 1.12 (devel/automake/1.12) - autoconf 2.69 (devel/autoconf/2.69) - metaauto 0.9 (or later) (devel/metaauto) - libtool 2.4.2 (or later) (devel/libtool) extract the above tarball and add http://jsg.id.au/openbsd/Makefile.bsd-wrapper make -f Makefile.bsd-wrapper obj env XENOCARA_RERUN_AUTOCONF=Yes make -f Makefile.bsd-wrapper build and restart your X server.
