>Description:
        Upon rebooting the machine, it goes into this beeping mode. I would 
describe the beep as one long beep (about 3-5 seconds) followed by a short 
pause and then it just repeats the process. The machine never enters any sort 
of POST or BIOS sequence. Also there is no output to the monitor. I have done 
several tests to rule out some possibilities.
        1.) I thought it might be a hardware issue, specifically memory. So I 
tested this machine with 2 other types of memory and I got the same problem.
        2.) I thought it might just be this specific machine. So I tested it 
with 2 other machines with the exact same hardware and I got the same problem.
        3.) Finally I suspected the OS. So I installed CentOS 5.5 and Windows 7 
on this machine and I am unable to reproduce this same issue. So that’s why I 
am sending this bug report.
        4.) Also, I suspected that it might be an OpenBSD 5.8 issue only. So I 
tested previous versions of OpenBSD. I tested versions 5.7, 5.6, 5.5, 5.3 and 
5.1. All of these also exhibited the same issue.
>How-To-Repeat:
        Simply force shutdown the machine and pull the power plug. Wait a few 
minutes, plug the power cord back in and bring the machine back up. Reboot the 
machine and you should hit the issue again. Sometimes it takes more than one 
reboot to make it happen, but so far I have been able to repeat it always. Most 
times I have rebooted it was 8 before hitting the issue again.
>Fix:
        The only way I have been able to bring the machine back up after 
entering the beeping mode is as follows:
        1.) Force shutdown the machine.
        2.) Pull the power plug. (This is required, or else the machine will 
simply keep beeping upon restart)
        3.) Wait a few minutes or press the power button a few times to 
discharge any energy left in the capacitors.
        4.) Plug the power cable back in.
        5.) Boot the machine. (This time it will start normally)
