I've never seen this before. Accoding to linux developers this seems to be an error related to a firmware-internal problem with power-saving. Yet our driver disables power-saving, which raises even more questions. I doubt there is anything we could in the driver to prevent this. There are newer firmware images in the iwlwifi linux-firmare repository would could upgrade to. This might help, or it might not.
