Okay, my memory is a bit foggy. But Sun did it for the same reason, so /usr could be NFS exported R/O to the diskless workstations. Is there a technical or security reason why /usr/share/relink cannot be moved to /var/relink? That should allow for R/O /usr again. --lyndon
