No. That's the reason I didn't give an ok (nor did anyone else) but
just mentioned the man page, and of course a change like this must
be tested. But I'm pretty sure that searching the currennt working
directory for package files by default is a bad idea. It can cause
problems similar to things like Scripts with #!/usr/bin/env. Tools
shouldn't depend on the current working directory.
