Joel Sherrill commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/pkg/rtems-lwip/-/merge_requests/37#note_139848 @opticron gave a great description of how we like to deal with third party code. I hope it is as well covered in the documentation. It would be appreciated if [Third Party Source](https://docs.rtems.org/docs/main/eng/coding-conventions.html#third-party-source-code) in the Software Engineering Guide and [RTEMS 3rd Party Packages](https://docs.rtems.org/docs/4.11.1/rsb/third-party-packages.html) are clear and complete. They are describing two separate cases. One is integrating source code into an rtems.org source repository and the other is teaching the RTEMS Source Builder how to build an add-on library/tool. It is always good to have reviews/feedback on documentation while someone is actively doing something related. -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/pkg/rtems-lwip/-/merge_requests/37#note_139848 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
