Amar Takhar commented on a discussion: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/merge_requests/965#note_140783 No thank you, this isn't a solution at all it's just circumventing what we already have in place. If you want to put the formatting in go for it but the configs will have to come later. My solution works just fine and you can use standard developer tools all it does is puts the configuration files in place. You can run `rtems-ci-stage` to get the config files and move on with life use whatever IDE or formatter. You'll have to run it periodically to get updates but those files won't change much I'm working on it. I'm not going to accept a special solution for C source when we have other formatting that's being left out it'll all get done at the same time. I have a very good understanding of how to make this work very nicely please just let me finish it. I created that issue after a meeting it's not my fault there is limited discussion I can't force others to engage. I've been extremely up front about all of this. -- View it on GitLab: https://gitlab.rtems.org/rtems/rtos/rtems/-/merge_requests/965#note_140783 You're receiving this email because of your account on gitlab.rtems.org.
