I'm just an interested party; since I haven't successfully done a build on Windows, I don't yet feel confident in my ability to help other people do it. I got the t2k error running "make sanity" (as described in the README); once I saw that, I didn't try to go on and build the JDK.
(*) Can somebody please verify that the version of the binary plugs for Window on the Sun site is correct and suitable for building? If it is, can you send me the URL to pull it down (because I obviously grabbed the wrong one)? If it's not, send me one that is?
For now, we know that the currently available binary plug ISN'T suitable for building; Kelly and others at Sun have confirmed this.
IMO, I suggest we just hold off for now, and wait until we get some build/plugs that someone at Sun says will build successfully.
