I think something similar to [f77caa6937e5f1e2e5e473187ca12fdc42816059]
and its fix in [c34b07026d91f9c2904f261e916bf5600aab16f4] should be done
for git.
I agree incremental build are important to keep. I was surprised the git
implementation was so aggressive when I did mine. In short, I think the
git step should git-clean only if self.sourcedirIsPatched() is true.
