The second part (handling WARNINGS) is handled in this commit:

Web console: show warnings as 'success' instead of 'exception'.
Currently the console is (ab)using the 'warnings' CSS class
for a different purpose; showing builds that failed again.
I think it should use a different CSS class.
However, I don't think it's very important to show
the "warnings" status in the console anyway,
so I'll just pretend warnings = success.
I know we solved the first problem, too, but apparently it didn't get
committed (?). I'll chase it down and fix it.
