I think that the summary of the conversation on #buildbot is that we
should supply minimal, but not trivial, manpages with the distribution.
If you can add some comments to the relevant places in the code --
master/buildbot/scripts/runner.py, master/docs/cmdline.texinfo, etc. --
reminding devs to update the manpages, that would be even better.
Honestly, the command-line interface doesn't change that frequently, so it
shouldn't be a big deal.
It would be great if you could set up some automated version-substitution
for the manpage source - at present, 0.8.1 is hard-coded in there.
You also mentioned some fixes to the --help output, which would be great
to see, as well.
