Why not to use an [http://nsis.sourceforge.net NSIS] project? This is de-
facto !#1 open-source installation generator for Windows platform. And
there is no need for .NET for sure. BTW anyone can build an installation
on a Linux box under wine safely(I did so in several projects with no
problems at all).
