I fleshed out some documentation in the sample file as well, to help
clarify what's going on and why.
Still have the gross hardcoded submit description directives, I'll deal
with that later. I'll pull it, transfer it to my pool, and test it later
this week or early next week, and do another commit to this branch as
things progress.
