#2699: Changes not shown in filtered waterfall view

In the filtered waterfall view it appears that the changes aren't
displayed correctly. The changes column is always empty except for a '?'
at the bottom of the page.
I've observed this on our local buildbot install (version 0.8.6p1), but
you can see the same problem on buildbot's buildbot, for example:
http://buildbot.buildbot.net/waterfall?category=config
When googling for answers I also stumbled across this, which I believe
describes the same issue:
