Ah! That's a much better lead..
Can you put some prints in {{{PollingChangeSource.startService}}} and
{{{stopService}}} and similarly for {{{GitPoller}}}? I'm guessing that
during reconfig the old service's {{{stopService}}} isn't doing the right
thing (which is to call {{{stopLoop}}}).
