So please, as I had already stated, and Randy does again below, refer to the SNIP Security and Privacy white paper for technology review to get info on tools.

We have a tool "Gap Express" which is based on XML schemas from
Washington
Publishing for the HIPAA transactions. We have enhanced the tool to
load
your actual data structures. We then map the standard to your data
structures and add comments regarding any issues of length,
recommendations
for translation etc. We have been pretty successful with this tool.
