Systems Programmer II (Eclipse RCP) - 01 Open Positions Job Description: This is a "hands-on" Senior Developer position, which will be responsible for the design and development using in-dept knowledge and experience of Eclipse RCP. Job Responsibilities: 1. Design, implement, and unit test thick applications in Java following an Agile software development process. 2. Design, implement, and unit test. 3. Utilize innovative approaches to problem solving. 4. Generate high quality engineering documents. 5. Perform deign/code reviews. Required Skill Set and Educational Qualifications: 1. BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related filed with 6+ years of work experience required. 2. Must have extensive experience with programming in Java. 3. Must have hands-on experience using Eclipse RCP and GUI libraries including SWT, JFace, and GEF. 4. Must have expert-level understanding of MVC development. 5. Must have expert-level understanding of GUI threading and events. 6. Must have hands-on experience designing and developing reusable custom UI components. 7. Must have hands-on experience on UI performance profiling and tuning. 8. Must have ability to translate screen design into well-designed Eclipse RCP plug-ins. 9. Must have ability to work in a demanding, rapid iterative development environment. 10. Must have strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
