Job Title Storage Backup Administrator Experience Level 7+ years Location Worcester, MA Start Date ASAP Duration Long Term No. Of Positions 2 Job Description IBM Storage (DS4000/DS8000) skills is mandatory Experience in SAN, NAS, Linux, Unix, Windows Experience on Tivoli Storage Manager, administering TSM instances running on a RedHat Linux platform; Providing backup support services for Windows, Linux and Unix host systems. In an IBM Z/OS mainframe environment, support SMS, HSM and RMM with a robotic native tape library and VTS, provide user support and on-call support for batch processing. On the Storage Area Network, administer SAN zone configurations in a two switch fabric with four IBM storage arrays, provision storage, investigate and correct issues. On the NAS, provision CIFS and NFS shares with SIS de-duplication and define snapshot schedules. Overall duties will include identifying and resolving software and hardware issues within the scope of data storage and backup, maintaining remote global mirroring solutions, planning and executing firmware updates and participation in Disaster Recovery exercises.
