Understands and can accurately describe technology components of: ESB, BPM, Registry, BAM, WSM. Extensive UML modeling (class, sequence, activity, component diagrams). Experienced with multiple Message Exchange Patterns (MEP) including: Request & Reply, Fire and Forget, Pub-Sub, Broadcast-Multicast. *Required Skillset:* Rational – Software Architect and/or Software Modeler experience Insurance, Membership or Financial Services experience Recommended experience with:BPEL orchestrations Enterprise canonical model (pref IAA, FSDM, FS3, Silverstein) Application of patterns that support reuse, flexibility, extensibility, mitigation of impact from change, loose-coupling, interoperability. XML message design and ‘contract first’ SOA service design approach. Sparx EA experience IBM SOA stack (WESB, WPS, WSRR, Datapower) Advanced XML schemas and including: Open Content Models, Wildcard Extensions, Global simpleType Declarations. Understands and can design a service as document literal Understands: Soap 1.1 and 1.2 Web Services and SOAP faults and error handling Difference between WSDL 1.1 and 2.0 Experience with Java (Java EE) Difference between object and relational models.
