Solaris Admin Location: CHICAGO, IL Duration: 12 months Req Details: Must be flexible to work nights and weekends to get the job done. Historically the consultant can work up to 50-60 hours per week, days, nights and weekends. OT will be paid at straight time rate. If work requires more time evenings or weekends to get the job done, they can be off during the day as needed. Lots of work for this group and looking for someone really flexible with work schedule. The Engineering Team is looking for a qualified individual to join the Unix Platform Engineering Team. The candidate will primarily be responsible for Solaris Lifecycle, Patching, and Virtualization. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The ideal candidate would have a solid technical background administering Unix Server environments and the ability to work with technical staff and partners to schedule server upgrades and maintenance.
