Front End /Web Developer Los Angeles, CA 6 Months *** MUST BE FRONT END DEVELOPERS*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop interactive consumer websites to give users a unique compelling experience. * Use and advocate the use of web standards, and all modern web technologies. * Create and maintain web pages using Javascript, (X)HTML, CSS, AJAX. * Utilize Javascript frameworks (mostly jQuery) to extend the user experience. * Optimize pages for both SEO and load time. * Work with middleware engineering teams to refine and extend Content APIs. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: * Three to five years hands-on experience web development experience. * Expert knowledge with Javascript, DOM, (X)HTML, CSS, XML and AJAX. * Ability to write and learn CSS, semantic markup and unobstrusive javascript. * Knowledge of javascript frameworks (preferrably JQuery) is a plus. * Experience working in a collaborative, team-driven software engineering environment. * Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Experience with JSP/J2EE a huge plus. * Conceptual knowledge relational databases or working knowledge of SQL and T-SQL is a plus. * Having worked on major large-scale consumer-facing web sites is a plus.
